It's everything you want in small surfing. To create the Sub Xero, we combined the new Xero with our favorite summer board, the Psycho Nitro. It has the same ultra-fast rocker as the Nitro, but with a slightly more tucked nose and a wider, straighter tail.
In the engine room, the nose vee allows for quick transitions from rail to rail, through a deeper single to double concave, which helps the Sub Xero maintain speed and change direction with minimal energy . The generous thickness and flatter deck are complemented by slightly pulled-down rails, as on other EasyRider-sized boards. This helps maintain volume throughout the board, while making turns easier to initiate and providing immediate response to attack any section.
It's designed to perform as well as possible in knee-high waves, and we're excited to unveil it for those days when you don't even want to go in the ocean without the right super groveler. For slow waves you need the fastest board – take advantage of the Sub Xero.
Ride with your Sub Xero approximately 4-6 inches shorter than your Xero in normal dimensions.
