HYFI 3.0 is the latest evolution of construction technology developed by JS Industries , designed to offer an even higher level of performance, responsiveness, and durability. This construction builds upon the experience gained with previous HYFI 2.0 and CarboTune technologies and now incorporates a hull and rails made entirely of carbon fiber.
HYFI 3.0 offers improved robustness and durability for increased performance.

This combination of materials offers excellent feedback and dynamic torsion. When leaning into turns, the board loads with energy and immediately delivers projection and speed. The result is a highly responsive and fluid surfing feel, ideal for maximizing performance in medium to light conditions.
Evolution of HYFI technology
Initially developed for the HYFI 2.0 range, this stringer technology has been retained and optimized by JS Industries for each board in HYFI 3.0.
Each board incorporates precision stringers, the size of which is specifically adapted to the board's dimensions and the intended surfer's weight. The objective is clear: to concentrate maximum stiffness in the center of the board, then gradually taper it towards the nose and tail.
This intelligent distribution of stiffness allows for a more homogeneous and efficient flex, offering better load capacity and explosive energy return in turns.
Research & Development
HYFI 3.0 technology is the result of lessons learned from the development of JS Industries' 100% carbon CarboTune surfboards. Tested by surfers of all levels, sizes, and wave types, this construction has been meticulously adjusted for each board configuration.
