Surf Pads
There's a surfboard grip pattern that has won more world titles than any other: Creatures' Square Loc (Mick Fanning x3, Steph Gilmore x8, Italo Ferreira x1, Chelsea Georgeson x1… and counting). Add Italo Ferreira's historic Olympic gold medal to that, and it's proven to hold up at the highest level of performance. This should give you even more confidence when dropping into the barrel of a local slab or attempting your first full-rotation in a wave pool.
However, even if two surf pads use the Square Loc pattern, they are not necessarily identical. You might need a tail pad suited for a fish-type board, prefer a full deck grip to avoid using wax, or simply want a model featuring your favorite pro.
In 2020, Steph Gilmore challenged us to create more eco-friendly surf tail pads. This quest led us to EcoPure® – an organic additive that allows surf grips to biodegrade in landfills after use, without compromising performance.
Steph, Mick Fanning, Italo Ferreira, Griffin Colapinto, Ethan Ewing, Jack Freestone and many others have since tested and adopted EcoPure® pads. This more sustainable option now accounts for over 80% of our range! Less impact. Uncompromised performance.

We designed our range of pads to meet the needs of all types of surfers. You'll find "grom" tail pads for young shredders, THERMO-LITE materials for those looking for a 20% thinner pad, as well as full deck options suitable for aerial enthusiasts and longboarders. And to complete the range, discover Mick Fanning's latest creation: the Performance Twin Fin Tail Pad.
