THE FASTEST BOARD FOR SMALL WAVES.
The Sub Xero is everything you're looking for in small wave surfing. To create it, we combined the new Xero with our long-time summer favorite, the Psycho Nitro. It retains the ultra-fast low-to-flat rocker and generous outline of the Nitro, but with a slightly pulled-in nose and a wider, straighter tail.
In the engine area, the vee in the nose promotes fast rail-to-rail transitions, extending into a deep single concave transforming into a double concave, allowing the Sub Xero to maintain speed and change direction with minimal effort.
The generous thickness and flat deck are complemented by slightly lowered rails, in the manner of EasyRider sized boards. This helps to maintain volume while facilitating turn initiation and offering immediate response to attack any wave section.
This board is designed to be as high-performance as possible in knee-high waves, and we are excited to unveil it for those days when you wouldn't even step in the water without the right super groveler. For slow waves, you need the fastest board — welcome to the Sub Xero.
*Surf your Sub Xero about 4 to 6 inches shorter than your usual Xero.
