It was designed with the iconic and timeless Blak Box rocker, combined with a new outline curve combination, modern rails, and a narrower swallow tail. This tail shape adds more curve from nose to tail, improving the board's overall glide in weak conditions. The new Xero Fusion features additional foam distribution along the rails, keeping volume where you need it. However, the rails are lowered to create the necessary sensitivity in a board that conceals a lot of foam.

This combination has been a winning formula for JS on many of our favorite boards in recent years. The Xero Fusion is extremely fast thanks to the Blak Box rocker, which offers instant acceleration, even more suited to small waves compared to the Xero Gravity. The rocker is flat and designed to glide over any dead section, while still having enough curve to push and turn hard in the pocket.

The mid-section incorporates a single concave under the front foot that transitions into a double concave under the fins, providing lift and control in critical sections. The Xero Fusion is a modernized and updated version of the best-selling Blak Box model (in the same dimensions). The Easy Rider option is also available for surfers who prefer more foam in a shorter board, with low rails to maintain maneuverability.
