SMALL WAVE PERFORMANCE

The Xero Fusion is a performance-oriented, user-friendly model designed for flatter faced waves. It sits between the more versatile Xero Gravity and the super small wave-focused Sub Xero. It's our latest small wave weapon, an essential in any surfer's quiver.

It was designed with the iconic and timeless Blak Box rocker, combined with a new blend of outline curves, modern rails, and a narrower swallow tail. This tail shape provides more outline curve from nose to tail, improving the board's overall glide in weak conditions. The new Xero Fusion combines additional foam distribution along the rails, keeping volume where you need it. However, the rails are lowered to provide the necessary sensitivity in a board with a lot of hidden foam.

This has been a winning combination for JS on several of our favorite models in recent years. The Xero Fusion is incredibly fast thanks to the Blak Box rocker, offering instant acceleration, even in small waves, compared to the Xero Gravity. The rocker is flat and designed to easily pass through soft sections, while still having enough curve to push and turn hard in the pocket.

The central area features a single concave under the front foot that transitions into a double concave towards the fins. This provides more lift and control in critical sections. The Xero Fusion is a modernized version of the best-selling Blak Box model (in the same dimensions). An Easy Rider option is also available for surfers who prefer more foam in a shorter board, with low rails to maintain maneuverability.

As the Xero family evolves, JS continues to strengthen the highlights of its favorite models worldwide. We have tested dozens of combinations to create new ideas and have found the ideal model for 1 to 3 foot waves, suitable for many spots around the world. The Xero Fusion is now the choice of Traktor team riders in flat or weak waves when they want to stay at the highest level of performance.
